Dining Room Updates , Turning 30 & The Kitchen Faucet of My DREAMS
Today marks one month since the start of the weekly journal!
I hope you are still loving these posts and that they bring a little lighthearted fun to your week and your inbox. This past week I’ve been knee deep in our dining room makeover project annnndd celebrated a pretty major milestone so let’s just dive on in!
Dining Room Updates
This past week, episode #1 of the Dining Room Makeover went live over on the channel! If you haven’t gotten the chance to see it yet, you can watch it here. It’s insane how different this room looks and we are barely even started on this makeover!
I’m still planning to makeover the dining chairs , re-finish the dining table , and then add all the details like lighting and curtains and accessories along with a few surprises I have for you.
The next episode is a little vlog style behind the scenes of working and planning for the upcoming projects, and now that I have the supplies I am so excited ( and nervous) to dive into them. But mostly excited and I cannot wait to show you the vision that has been rolling around in my head for so long now 🥹
Turning ✨30 ✨
Now as for that big milestone… This past weekend was my birthday and I am now THIRTY.
Which feels like a big deal. Not necessarily bad or good, just a big deal lol. I keep going back and forth between feeling so old and like “how on earth am I already thirty?” and then also feeling like I cannot possibly be thirty I am nottttt adult enough for that and I am a fraud.🤣
I’m sure the shock will wear off soon and it will properly sink in, but for now, I’m honestly just excited for this upcoming year and to see what Chapter 30 has in store.
The Kitchen Faucet of My DREAMS!!!
I guess I really should start believing that I really am thirty… because one of my birthday gifts was a kitchen faucet… and I was ELATEDDDDD!!! 🤣
To be fair, it is legitimately THE prettiest kitchen faucet I have ever seen. Truly. I’m not just being dramatic when I say that. I sincerely cannot think of a single other faucet I have seen in magazines or online that is prettier to me than this one. I didn’t know you could love a faucet , but maybe that’s what turning 30 does to you.
I don’t know when I will actually get around to getting this faucet installed in our kitchen, ( I have plans for the kitchen and part of me wants to wait till we start tackling them) but if you want to see the prettiest faucet you will ever see in your life before I get around to installing it… here it is.
( P.S.… it’s even prettier in person like the picture does NOT do it justice!)
