In a world where we are constantly being bombarded by new products and the latest  “must haves”,  it’s really easy to feel like you have to spend lots of money to make your home feel luxurious. But I promise you, you don’t have to! 

In fact, I’m a huge believer that sometimes it’s the tiniest little things that can make the biggest difference in the way your home feels. And these three tiny ( and super affordable) things are my absolute favorite little ways to upgrade my home! And the best part is that these tiny home upgrades are so simple to do that you can actually incorporate all of them today!

1. Fresh Flowers

I don’t think there is a simpler or more universal way to add luxury to your home than with fresh flowers. 

I know,  I know, this one sounds not so affordable and a total waste of money since flowers can be expensive and are also temporary. 

But just trust me when I tell you it doesn’t have to be!

In fact, you may be pleasantly surprised to realize that most grocery stores actually sell really affordable bundles of fresh flowers! 

My favorite of these grocery store deals is the 3 for $12 deal at Publix! They always have beautiful seasonal options that you can mix and match to make gorgeous arrangements.

So for only $12 you can have the dopamine hit of fresh, beautiful flowers all over your home! 

Bonus Tip: This tiny home upgrade will last even longer if you change out the water every few days and add a little flower food, even up to 2 to 3 weeks! 

2. Matching Hangers

This is one that I think most people have heard of but I think that people still totally underestimate. But when I tell you the quickest way to make your closets feel elevated is by simply swapping all your hangers to match? Like it’s insane how much this works!

It literally doesn’t even matter if you have the cheapest , ugliest hangers available… the moment you have them all match.. Your closet instantly looks better. 

Don’t believe me? I use these super cheap plastic hangers and I’m telling you that they still make my closet feel so much cleaner and organized! Just try it and thank me later!

3. Tiny Lamps 

Okay, I don’t know about you but I HATE the overhead light. It doesn’t matter how dark it is, what time of day or what room… if I can avoid turning on the overhead lights… I will! 

Which brings me to my favorite little hack for cozying up any room, a tiny lamp!

I think this hack is especially successful when you use a tiny lamp in places that aren’t standard places for lamps. Such as ; kitchen counters, closets , bathroom counters and on shelves and bookcases! 

And I know that lamps can be really expensive, but you can actually find them super cheap at thrift stores. In fact, most thrift stores are absolutely overrun with lamps! 

I actually thrifted my little kitchen lamp a few years ago and I still LOVE it! But just in case you don’t find one at your thrift store that fits your style , I’ve rounded up some really adorable ( and affordable ) options for you!
